Jamie Foxx has a new project in the works following the "medical complication" that led to his hospitalization last month.

On Monday (May 15), FOX announced a new music game show called We Are Family, which will be hosted by the actor and his daughter, Corinne Foxx.

Each episode of the music guessing game will feature a celebrity and their non-famous relative, per People. The twist: the identity of the featured star will be hidden, and a studio audience will have the chance to win up to $100,000 if they correctly guess who the secret celebrity is.

"We are thrilled to be developing We Are Family with Jeff Apploff and our friends at FOX Entertainment after so much success with six seasons of Beat Shazam," the father-daughter duo said in a joint statement. "We hope this show brings as much fun to audiences at home as we've had creating it when it premieres next year."

News of Jamie Foxx's new project comes after he experienced an unidentified "medical complication" that sent him to the hospital. Amid his health scare, Jamie and his daughter were replaced as hosts on another FOX game show, Beat Shazam. Nick Cannon was tapped to temporarily fill in for Jamie while Kelly Osbourne is slated to step in for Corinne.

Last week, Corinne shut down social media speculation that her father was still in the hospital and possibly on life support.

"Update from the family: Sad to see how the media runs wild," she said on Instagram. "My Dad has been out of the hospital for weeks, recuperating."

The father and daughter's new game show series is expected to air in 2024.
